Funds Award
Guidelines for
Submission
Beginning
in spring 2008, EUP APSCUF will provide two $500 scholarships each semester to
EUP APSCUF members for research or travel to present papers/workshops at
scholarly conferences. Faculty,
both teaching and non-teaching, from all disciplines are invited to submit
proposals.
Guidelines for applications:
1) Identify your
name, title of your proposal, and your departmental affiliation (this is for the
original only, for the copies it should only have the proposal
title)
2)
Identify the deadline for completion of the proposal or the date of the
conference presentation
3)
Describe how the project contributes to your own professional
development
4)
Describe the project and/or include a copy of the conference
proposal
5)
Include a copy of the acceptance letter to the conference and/or a copy
of the program highlighting your name and title of your presentation. If you have made arrangements to conduct
research at another university/archives, etc, you must include a copy of the
“invitation.”
6)
Proposal should be 3-4 pages, double-spaced, in
length
7)
Proposal must be submitted following the order outlined in
1-5
8)
Submit 5 copies of the proposal (4 without your name or
department)
9)
Submit the proposal to APSCUF 109
Centennial Hall, Professional Development Fund Committee, by March 17,
2008

(Centennial) within two weeks of completion of the
project.
