Four years ago, APSCUF launched a long-term APSCUF awareness program with "Pennsylvania's Own" a multi-media advertising campaign. That effort effort continues today!

At the outset, APSCUF faculty and coaches were represented via a highly visible billboard and television advertising program. Raising the awareness in the Harrisburg region was important as the organization reminded legislators and regulators of the commitment of our faculty and coaches to quality educations for more than 110,000 State System students.

Featured in the organization's ongoing television blitz are faculty and coaches from various campuses. Academic growth through the rigors of the classroom and the playing field is emphasized by outstanding faculty and coaches.

Representing Pennsylvania's Own on numerous billboards blanketing the region were a state system student from Millersville and former APSCUF President Pat Heilman.

Today, APSCUF maintains a strong presence on PCN -- the Pennsylvania Cable Network.  APSCUF is the prime sponsor of all PIAA High School Sports Championships on PCN.  These championship events feature a high viewer rate, and PCN sells VHS/DVD copies of each championship game to interested viewers.  These copies feature APSCUF's ads.  Over a recent 9-month period, nearly 4,400 videos were sold.  APSCUF ads also appear on other PCN programming:
